The theme of our competition this year was the Historic Environment. Thanks to everyone who took part, we had some brilliant photos showcasing that Llŷn is full of buildings, structures, and historical remains. The unique historical environment has been identified as one of the qualities of the area. Thanks also to the judge @gareth_jenkins_photography.
It is a pleasure to announce that Dafydd Hughes was the winner of the first prize this year, with the stunning photo of the old Llanbedrog quarry pier "stage", Lan Mor Tyn Tywyn.
This is a striking picture of the dark sky above Ynys Enlli Monastery, taken by Emyr Owen. Emyr was second in our competition.
Taking the third prize in our photography competition is Rhodri Jones' photo of the lighthouse on Ynys Enlli. The lighthouse was built back in 1821, it is a significant and important building on the Island.
